Todd Joseph Seda

Todd [Chuck] Seda

 Todd was born on September 3, 1967, to James D. and Martha [Novotny] Seda in Waterloo, Iowa. He passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2024.

Todd grew up in Clutier, Iowa, the youngest of six children. He attended North Tama Schools where he graduated with the Class of 1986. After graduation he attended Hawkeye Community College. He worked at Traer Manufacturing for several years. He also worked at Control in Waterloo, Traer Redemption Center, Can Country Redemption Center and Burger Farms. His favorite job though was being Transportation Director at Fox Ridge Winery on Band nights where he enjoyed meeting people and giving rides on the ranger from the parking area!

Anyone who met Chuck was automatically a friend! His huge smile always made you smile. He was always up for a good poker game be it on Christmas Eve with family or his friends at the annual Coon Valley Ranch Reunion. He was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and he displayed that proudly by wearing his Chiefs and Royals jerseys!

His favorite past time though by far was FCF [Family Comes First] where he loved all family gatherings and going to his several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews sporting events.

Todd is survived by His brothers and sisters, Deb [John] Murphy, Mike [Gwen] Seda, Sandy Jacobs Harris, Joel [Chris Kupka] Seda, Jane Seda and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also, special friends Scott and Alana Berger, his second family. 

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 brothers in law, Steve Jacobs and Dan Harris, and a niece Jennifer.

Celebration of Life will be at the Fox Ridge Winery, 1465 L. Ave., Traer, Iowa  50675, on August 14, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
