Patricia Catherine Clark, 93, of Traer, Iowa, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Sunrise Hill Care Center due to Cancer.

Born on September 5, 1932, in Boone County, Nebraska, she was the first born of eleven to Louis and Bernadette (Magsamen) Koch.

A graduate of Lamont High School, she married Robert Clark on October 25th, 1951. The family lived in Lamont, St. Ansgar, Dysart and Traer, Iowa. They shared 54 years of marriage until Bob’s death in 2005.

Pat was a cherished member of St. Paul Catholic Church for 64 years. In that time she was the CCD Religious Education Coordinator and helped introduce the cookie carousel fundraiser.

A woman of extraordinary talents, Pat poured her heart into everything she did. Along with her mother’s help, she was a seamstress, a baker, a repairman, and decorator- and even took on the challenge of managing the Traer Country Club. Beyond her leadership, she was an excellent golfer winning the Traer Country Club Women’s Championship.

Pat also had a gift for sales. Whether it was shoes, cars or advertising, her determination and instincts made her successful in every endeavor. She was a true force of energy, creativity and dedication, leaving a true mark on her community.

Pat is survived by two sons, Michael (Julia) Clark of Manhattan, Kansas and Mark (Flavia) Clark of Chandler, Arizona. Four Grandchildren, Casey (Michelle) Clark, Kelli (Grant) Potter, Rachel (Tomas) Portillo Hernandez, Valerie (Justin) Byrd. Six great-Grandchildren and seven siblings. Louis (Diane) Koch, Cyril (Georgia) Koch, Fritz Koch, Marge (Red) Axtell, Larry (Phyllis) Koch, Imelda (Alan) Streitmatter, Charlie (Lori) Koch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bernadette Koch, husband, Bob Clark. Also, her sisters Mary Ann Haren and Jean Schmitz and one brother, Raymond Koch.

The family would like to thank the nurses and personnel of Sunrise Hill Care Center. Mom’s journey from the Independent Apartments to the Assisted Living, to the Nursing Center, was always done with love and care!
