Mark “Bushy” Daniel Fehr, of Clutier, IA, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was 74 years old and had touched the lives of many throughout his journey.

Born in Waterloo, IA, to Clarence and Elsie (Wieck) Fehr on April 14, 1951. He graduated from Dysart High School in 1969 and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country with pride. Following his service, he embraced various vocations, showcasing his diverse skills; from being a bookkeeper for the Tama-Benton Co-op to hauling livestock for the business his grandpa started, Wieck Feed. He later found joy as a truck driver for Siemens Trucking out of Traer, IA, hauling livestock. Mark was a true jack of all trades who could always be found behind the wheel if there was something to be transported. He also hauled Pioneer seed corn for many years. In later years, he enjoyed working seasonally as a truck driver for Liqui-Grow in Traer.

In October 1995, Mark married his love Kathi at the Little Brown Church. Mark gained a large family to love and to be loved by. Mark and Kathi cherished their time at Rainbow Lake, where fishing and basking in the great outdoors brought them both immense joy.

A passionate hunter and admirer of nature, Mark loved hunting, fishing, and coon hunting, often accompanied by his loyal coon dog. With little time to spare, he would embrace moments of leisure watching Westerns, always finding joy in those cinematic stories. His heart overflowed with love for all animals, especially his cherished horses, whom he took on many trail rides. Mark also enjoyed participating in Rodeo events. Another pastime that Mark enjoyed was dancing. He loved dancing whenever he could with his wife and girls.

Above all, Mark’s greatest blessings were his grandchildren, with whom he shared the warmest moments, regaling them with captivating stories. His love for them was palpable, and he cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Elsie Fehr; his parents-in-law, Everett and Doris Kintzel; one brother, Alan Fehr; two brothers-in-law, Greg Kintzel and Fritz Heidt; and one nephew, Ryan Kintzel. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathi Fehr of Clutier; two sons, Chris (Heather) Fehr of Garrison, and Jared Kupka of Traer; two daughters, Jessica (Michael) Doyle of Independence and Jennifer (Chad) Brown of Tama; one brother, Peter (Della) Fehr; one sister, Laura (Donald) McCool; grandchildren Morgan, Dylan, McKenna, Allison, Mason, Matthew, Natalie, Rider, Maddalyn, Oliver, and Carson; along with many more family and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Overton Funeral Home, located at 707 Clark St, Dysart, IA. The family will welcome friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the same day, also at Overton Funeral Home.

Mark's spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of all who knew him, forever cherished and never forgotten.
